Thanks, in advance, for your loving and prayerful support of Betsi's family and friends.

  • The service will be held at the Jack Wyrtzen Center, Word of Life Bible Institute, Pottersville, on Saturday, Nov. 14, 10:00 am

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donation in Betsy's name to Word of Life International Ministries, P.O. Box 600, Schroon Lake, NY 12870 or Mountainside Christian Academy, 165 US Route 9, Schroon Lake, NY 12870.

Hi everyone! - Posted: December 16, 2007   by Jennifer Lee - 1989
I am a single Mom to a wonderful 10 year old boy who has been diagnosed autistic. We've been thru 4 churches in his 10 years on earth and are currently looking for one that will accept us for who we are and will become our true spiritual family.... PLEASE keep us in prayer!! We've been kicked out of 2 churches because of his behaviors and I'm afraid at this time his love of God's people and God has wanned tremendously. I know God works everything together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. PLEASE PRAY THAT WE FIND OUT HIS PURPOSE VERY SOON!!!!!!! I am a school teacher at this time. I received my MAT from Montclair State University a year ago and I just began a new position in a new district this year. I'm teaching 1st grade and loving it!! Still single but my life is very full with my son, my job and my friends and family. I know one day God will provide a Godly husband for me and father for my son. It's just not today! LOL I'd love to hear from anyone from 1988/89! Drop me an email sometime.

Baby boy - Posted: December 10, 2007   by Lydia (Weyman) and Frederick Holcomb - 1997
Fred and I were blessed with the birth of our first child- Isaac Andrew Holcomb, on April 11, 2007. We prayed for a child for 3 years, and know the Lord allowed us to wait for His reasons. Isaac is a great joy and such a happy little guy.

Lighting my community - Posted: December 7, 2007   by Deb Frisbey - 0
These passed 4 years God has open a door for me to reach my community though starting a Youth Center uesing WOL's clubs material. Praise be to God 35 kids have come to Christ. I do it through my parents hose for now. We are reaching family like we could not in a church. We warm them up to church and 4 families who were not going to church are. We are also reaching out to the teachers in the public school as well. people are hopeless in our communities not just overseas. Just look down your street and you will find a lost hurtting person and family. That is what I hve learned over these years. It is a joy to serve Christ in my community

Our Little Miracle - Posted: December 7, 2007   by Bethel Ellis (Weberg) - 1999 , 2000
Just thought I would give a little update for those of you who remember me. On October 9th my husband and I had a baby girl, Karigan. After she stopped breathing several times they did some tests including a CT scan and an MRI and it was determined that she had had a stroke while in utero. Because of this she was having seizures that were causing her to stop breathing. After 3 weeks in the NICU and LOTS of prayer we were able to bring her home and she is doing very well. God has blessed us so much and we are very thankful for our little miracle.

LONG TIME - Posted: November 28, 2007   by Jacob Kesling - 2000
I just noticed that there is a web site for us all to chat. I have to say, I talk about WOLBI a lot. It really was an amazing place where I met many good friends. I see that a few are on here so now I can reach out to you. I am living in Baton Rouge Louisiana...how does a man go from being a Buckeye to LSU Tiger land? It is a mess. I really enjoy what I am doing though. I am married with three great kids. Lane is 4, Zoe is 2 and Makenna is 7 months. They are so much like me....LOUD and in trouble all the time. Well, mom always wished I would have a few like me....here they are. I love those little ones. I am happy to hear you all are doing really well. I am sure if you were falling on the worst of days and struggling with all sorts of sin, you would not confess on a WOLBI site. Anyway, if any of you all remember me, give me a shout. I was working at a church with Joel Kovacs. He is a great man. I really enjoyed working with him! Anyway, hope to hear from some of you soon. jskesling@yahoo.com
