It's been a long time - Posted: October 25, 2007   by Jodi (Lough) and Scott Ries - 1987
Hello from Indiana! It is amazing that 20 years have passed since being at WOLBI. How special it is for Scott and I to return to visit with my brother, his family and my mom living in Schroon Lake. We still hear echoes of my Dad's voice around -- and know it won't be long before we are all face to face with the Lord. It is a day we so look forward to soon! Scott and I have three children, Grace, Lauren and Jason. They are incredible kids and we are thrilled that they are ours! We hope that maybe some of you will catch us up on your lives and how the Lord has blessed you!

A Man of God needs our help! - Posted: October 24, 2007   by Paul and Ruth (Yates) Stanfield - 2000 , 2001
There is a Man of God that truly needs our help. His name is Mike Huckabee. You may wonder how he needs our help. He is running for President and needs our prayers and financial support. If you have not heard of Mike you can learn more about him at MikeHuckabee.com. But just to give you a little background on him. He grew up in a small town in Arkansas so he knows what it is like to not have much. He went own to become a Baptist preacher for 13 years. After that he served as Lieutenant Governor of Arkansas for 3 years and went on to be Governor for 10 1/2 years. We as Christians should do all that we can to put one of us in the White House. Once again a man of God needs our help. I have done what I can so far and I am asking you for you help to get him there. Feel free to e-mail me if you have any questions. Iam4ukru@yahoo.com or leave me a message at my myspace page. www.myspace.com/paulstanfield In Christ, Paul Stanfield Kernersville, NC

Hey Donna Denningham my son is in Lynchburg at Liberty. He'll only be there till Dec. - not loving it. Jared, our youngest is 16 and soon getting his license. We are all fine. Dave Denis - thanks for the memory of the lonesome road song. Can you picture them getting lower and lower. Good times at snow camp! Any other memories any of you have? Anyone know where Kari Vanoverloop, Kathy Galbraith or Steve Henton ended up? One other memory of snow camp for me being called to nurses on Monday to tell me my whole cabin went home and found out they had lice

We have 2 daughters from my first marriage. They are Valerie and Stacie Merkel. My first husband George Merkel died of cancer in 1987. My husband works with dementia patients and I teach preschool. We love the midwest and would love to hear from people in our area, especially those from the class of 1975.

Here's a quick update. After 5 years of marriage and lots of drifting around the planet Steve has joined the Army. He leaves Tuesday for 4 months. That leaves me at home in Lynchburg, VA with our 3 kids. Mackenzy will be 3 in December, Nathan 2 in November and Josiah just turned 1 this week. I would love to hear from any of my old friends out there! :-)

Bill(Tiny) & Merilee (Lubrich) Pierce - Posted: October 19, 2007   by Gary Plewes - 1993
Hey there from the sunny South. It has been great reading all the names from '85. It sure would be great to have a reunion! It has been far too long since we have seen our dear friends. We are living in South Carolina. Tiny was the Southerner that was dressed up like a mummy in the winter. We have been blessed w/ 5 children. We have 3 girls and 2 boys. Their ages are; 16,11,8,7 and 18 months. Like some other friends of from the BI, God decided to have us turn 40 and have a baby. We wouldn't have it any other way. Bill is a General Manager for a scissor/sharpening company and worship/youth leader at our Church. We both stay busy w/ everyday family life along w/ extra curricular activities. I praise the Lord daily for blessing me w/ such a Godly man for a husband and father!!!
