Betsi Oris: On to glory! Psalm 116:15 “Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints.” Dear Word of Life Family: We are writing to share the difficult news that our dear sister, Betsi Oris (Jack Wyrtzen's daughter), unexpectedly went Home to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 7th here in Schroon Lake. Please keep her children, grandchildren, and entire family in your prayers as they travel here to Schroon Lake in the coming hours and days. Hey class of 1982! Larry and I married in 1989. We have two teenage daughters and our oldest is considering attending the BI! How life goes full circle. We currently live in Maryland and we are very active with Young Life. We just thought we would post a quick greeting to you all. We live in Centerville, Ohio (south side of Dayton), and have two children. Nicole is 17 and a junior in high school, and Nicholas is 12 and in 7th grade. Both kids attend Dayton Christian School. We attend Washington Heights Baptist Church, where Andrew is the Maintenance Supervisor. Patti works part time for the City of Centerville in the Building Inspection department. We both graduated from Cedarville University, and hope to see some of you who also attended Cedarville at the upcoming 25th anniversary dinner for the Cedarville class of 1982! In May of this year, we moved to Northern MN - my husband's hometown. The move has been a struggle in many ways but God is showing how faithful He is and we can clearly see His hand upon every aspect of our lives. Our son Isaac is almost 15 months old now and baby #2 should make an appearance in May 2008. We are excited to meet this next baby and finish our family. We had a baby girl and her name is Izabella Grace O'Wade. My 13 year old daughter Tori, from my first marriage is going to be going through a tough time. My ex-wife is taking me to court to get sole custody of her and it is tearing us up. We have to come up with at least $5000 to hire a lawyer and we just don't have it. The court date is set for November and we are all very worried and stressed. My new wife of 2 years and my my other 2 daughters( 7 and 9 months) are going to be devastated if we lose Tori. Please pray that we win this battle and that we can come up with the $5000 soon. I don't want to lose my daughter. We have had joint custody for almost 10 years now, and Tori and I are very close. My heart is really breaking for her and I just don't know what to do. Looking for jobs - Posted: September 26, 2007 by Alex Reichard - 2002 Just moved down to Tampa Florida from Lynchburg Virginia where I was working in the insurance biz. I moved down here to be closer to Andrew and my new sister-in-law, Nicole Reichard ;-) I also needed to get out of my college town and get a start for myself. Tampa is an excellent job market, and the weather is great. If I don't find a job soon, I just might take up pirating in the gulf coast. I'm actually looking for a job as a finance analyst, and would like to work at Raymond James Financial. I hope all of you fellow alumi are doing well. :-)
