Betsi Oris: On to glory! Psalm 116:15 “Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints.” Dear Word of Life Family: We are writing to share the difficult news that our dear sister, Betsi Oris (Jack Wyrtzen's daughter), unexpectedly went Home to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 7th here in Schroon Lake. Please keep her children, grandchildren, and entire family in your prayers as they travel here to Schroon Lake in the coming hours and days. Thanks, in advance, for your loving and prayerful support of Betsi's family and friends. Update: Betsy Oris Service Arrangements
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donation in Betsy's name to Word of Life International Ministries, P.O. Box 600, Schroon Lake, NY 12870 or Mountainside Christian Academy, 165 US Route 9, Schroon Lake, NY 12870. Please continue to keep Betsy's family in prayer. Joe and Don

Hi all! - Posted: September 26, 2007 by Becky and Jon (Bush) Pirtle - 1993 , 1994 For those that don't know, I got married just over 4 years ago. On Oct 3, our son will turn 1! I have been working for 7 years at FedEx. My husband Jon works for the US Govn't. First Timer - Posted: September 26, 2007 by JoAnna Jinks - 1998 WOW this page is great! Can't believe it's my first time on! Hi everyone from WOLBI Flordia! I still consider 1998 to be the best year of my life. I miss you guys. A lot has happened since 1998! I went to BBC for two years before dropping out and moving back home to upstate NY. I worked for a few years and prayed about where God wanted me next. He gave me a passion I never thought I would have: working with at-risk teens especially teens in the foster care system. I then went back to college for my AS in Human services and then transfered to Penn State to complete my BA in Human Development and Family Studies. So, now I am fresh out of college. I graduated and moved to Sweetwater TN the same day (very crazy)! Now I am working at Sweetwater High School as the GED/Credit Recovery Instructor working with at-risk students who need to either get their GED because they are sooo behind or need to recover credits in order to graduate on time. I am still single (no name change for me :) ). Those of you who know me probably aren't surprised! I think I am too selfish to get involved with someone else. My hands are full just dealing with me! :) I would love to hear from you. I haven't heard anything from Tabby, Jaime, or Sprout since 1998! Any news on them? Love Hear some of our WOLBI teachers online - Posted: September 26, 2007 by Jeff and Robbyn Apthorp - 1986 The ministry I serve with, Bible Broadcasting Network, recently launched a free online Bible institute. All the classes are streamed in audio format and several of the teachers were our teachers at WOLBI. You can hear them at www.bbnbi.org. Enjoy! Bible Institute in Colorado! - Posted: September 26, 2007 by Jonathan and Tracy Henderson - 1981 God has paved the way for us to begin a Bible Institute training at multiple levels in the Colorado Springs and Pueblo areas. PTL for WOLBI's solid training. Thanks in advance for your prayers! Fall session begins next week -- Oct 2! Jonathan / www.frbible.org Hello all - Posted: September 26, 2007 by Jennifer Taber - 1999 I always forget to go on the website but I do hear from some of you every once in a while. Many of you know how 2 years ago this past June our (also, my sister, April, was class of 1998) mother passed away at 45 from melanoma cancer. Since then, MANY changes have taken place- not the least of which will be capped off this coming weekend. My Dad will be getting remarried to a sweet Christian widow, Connie, who has 4 young kids. Tim and I are really looking forward to the family growing in that way. Between my Dad and Connie, they will have 12 kids! God has graciously given them both happiness again, even after all the pain they each went through. Other news is that Tim and I are still growing happily in our love for each other and foremost, for God. We have been able to be one of the growing families in a church plant for Sovereign Grace ministries here in Corning, NY- about 1 1/2 hrs west of Binghamton. We have watched the church more than double in size in the past 2 years so that is now at about 150. It is a wonderful, family- oriented group of believers who we truly love. I'd absolutely LOVE to hear from anyone from our class. I remember alot of you, and have loved reading past entries to get back up-to- date on your lives. Take care, Love you all, and God Bless! mchristealone@yahoo.com Just checking in.... - Posted: September 25, 2007 by Mrs Regina (Cluff) and Chris Molnar - 1993 I was taking a peek at the website and decided I should write something.
