Betsi Oris: On to glory! Psalm 116:15 “Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints.” Dear Word of Life Family: We are writing to share the difficult news that our dear sister, Betsi Oris (Jack Wyrtzen's daughter), unexpectedly went Home to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 7th here in Schroon Lake. Please keep her children, grandchildren, and entire family in your prayers as they travel here to Schroon Lake in the coming hours and days. Please feel free to drop in on LifeSabers display at Farpoint Sci-Fi Convention in Timonium, MD near Baltimore in February, 2009! We MAY be doing a Sunday Morning Service geared to the Sci-Fi audience for the convention! She is now 10 months old. Zakiya Kai Williams. My other two are Kenya 8 and Kennedy 7 (from my previous marriage). he also has three children from a previous marriage; Keonta 19, Destiny 16, Alexis 14, and Sierra 13. The big day is New Years Eve and I am soooooo excited. We are now living in Indiana on staff at a wonderful church. The ministry here is growing like crazy. I have been blessed with 8 married couples as Teen Club leaders. Wow, what a joy. And as for family, God has seen fit to bless us with 6 children, 4 boys and 2 girls. They keep Charla and I moving. Anyway, just felt like sharing. Have a great week!! Robert and Keiko Hurd - 1988 Hi Friends! It has been a long time since my last entry so here is an update. It was five years ago that I wrote. Our son Josiah is now five and is in school. We also have been blessed with a daughter named Lydia and she is three. My wife Keiko teaches piano lessons and tunes piano's. I continue to pastor Spring City Baptist Church. We have been to Japan once and hope to return again. Keiko is from Japan. Best to you all! The members of LifeSabers Fellowship greater Harrisburg, PA area will be helping out 2 churches during the Dillsburg Farmers Fair Parade. Our "Jedi" will be marching with a Last Supper Live Portrait float and others of us will be helping out another church manning a Gospel(tract) table. I can't wait for October 18th(Saturday)!! LifeSabers continues to go well, we voted on some LifeSabers honorariums recently. It was decided that for the great work and study involved with CSI: Jerusalem, this past Easter Sunday, that Pastor Wayde Wilson of Christian Life Assembly, Camp Hill, PA is Honorary LifeSabers Member and Member of the Year and also LifeSabers Pastor of the Year.
