Reunion??? - Posted: February 10, 2008   by Miss Dale Kay Miller - 1989 , 1990
Hi everyone. I am still serving in Ukraine with SEND international. I can hardly believe it, but I will soon be finishing my 2nd term here. I will be home from July, 2008 through August, 2009. I am hoping that we will be having a 20th class reunion while I am in country. I was unable to attend the last one we had because I was in Ukraine. I really don't want to miss another one. As soon as anyone has any information about the reunion, please contact me!! I want to be sure if fits my schedule.

New Addition - Posted: February 5, 2008   by Tracy (Gilbert) and Jeff Villers - 1995 , 1996
It's been a little while since we posted. We added Mackenzie Joy to our family in March of '07, I can hardly believe she is almost a year old. We also had a relapse of Hodgkins lymphoma and underwent a bone marrow transplant in September of '07. Thankfully I am home now and recovering nicely. If you want to read more about our cancer journey or see pictures of the baby you can go to www.carepages.com. After creating a username and password go to "tracysplace."

I haven't read all the posts on here, but think I may be the first one from my class to do a news entry. Not much point updating you all on what's happened since WOL, as you don't know me, yet! I look forward to reading more of your posts as time permits.

Hello Class of 1977 - Posted: January 24, 2008   by Debbie ( Hodges) Earl - 1976 , 1977
Hello to all my fellow classmates. I have been busy raising three adopted children. I am so thankful to God that He closed my womb, and gave my husband and I these three wonderful children. At the age of 40 years old God saw the secret desire in my heart to have children. So my husband and I adopted two girls from China, and a boy from the state of Ohio. Our oldest daughter was 13 years old when we adopted her from China, and she is now 20 years old. Her name is Shae JiangBo, and she attends a christian college. Shae had never even heard of God until she came to America. Praise be to God Shae has come to know our Saviour! Our two youngest children my husband and I adopted as babies. Tylee Jade came from China at 7 months old weighing only 9.6 pounds, and she is now a healthy 9 year old girl. Our son Casey Edward was an Ohio adoption. My husband, and I were blessed to be in the delivery room with him, and he is now an energetic 9 year old boy. We have an open adoption with his birthparents which has been wonderful. The two youngest children are inseparable, and since they were raised as babies together are a lot like twins. My husband and I just had our 13 year anniversary. God has been so good to us. Before we had children I had my husband take me back to Word of Life so I could reminisce. The only thing that changed was that all my 1977 buddies weren't there. So I'm sure hoping to hear from some of you, and to hear what the Lord's been doing in your lives. I have great memories of my Word of Life days! Blessing to all of you. South Carolina - Posted: January 23, 2008   by Wayne and Melinda (Oesterling) Marquess - 1999 , 2000
Well, it's been a long time since I've given an update. At the end of June we moved with our two kids Reuben and Leanna,to South Carolina. The Lord blessed us greatly in that we found a wonderful church in only 4 weeks and that it was only minutes away! We have settled in and are making friends in our devlopment. Wayne is looking for another job as the one that he took has not turned out to be what we thought it would. The last 2 years have definitely had it's trials and difficult times but praise the Lord He has seen us through and we give him all the glory.

Our third baby Logan has arrived. - Posted: January 23, 2008   by Mrs. Bria Ashley Phillips (Cadwallader) - 2002
Hey everyone. I am so sorry I haven't been on lately and haven't written some of you back. Life has been crazy here lately! Well as some of you already know, I went into the hospital on Friday the 11th, with some contractions and some heart issues. Nothing serious just didn't feel right! But we got to the hospital around 2:00 pm. and such started labor :( ouch!!!!!! And let me tell you little Logan is a stubborn one :) he did not want to come out. The labor itself wasn't to to bad..... I got the epideral around 4:00 am..... and so glad I did.... But anyways Logan didn't arrive until 1:28 pm. The next day on the 12th. So it was almost a full 24 hrs. in labor. But it was all worth it :) And thankfully I only pushed for 4 mins. 2 good pushes and he was here! He weighed 7lbs. 6 oz. and was 20 inches long. Oh and did I mention that he was born on Addie's birthday.... What's the likes of that. I was kinda bummed at first but it's actually kinda exciting saying you have 2 kids born on the same day! And even crazier less than an hour apart....And what better birthday present than a baby brother :) Well anyways we left the hospital and headed home on mon. afternoon. it has been an adjustment to having 3 little ones in the house but both Ethan and Addie have been wonderful through all of this and Ethan is really a big help. He seems so big now, with having a newborn around. Also I am so thankfull Jonathan has been off of work all week. He has been amazing, I couldn't have been blessed with a better man! God gave me a good one :) Well Logan is doing great at home as well, and is adjusting well. He already is sleeping about 6 hours solid a night! Which is amazing! And he is eating well and is just a complete joy to have around. It amazes me how much you can love such a little thing that has been around less than a week. I couldn't imagine life with out him now. So over all everything is going wonderful.... We are now a very happy family of 5 :) And thank you everyone so much for your thoughts and prayers, we really appreciate everything. Well love you all. Love, Bria And you can always e-mail me at silverivory@aol.com, I would love to hear from some of you... and if you wanna see pics. you can look at them on my myspace page.
