About Us
Sohpomore Year

In the 1970's, the need for youth pastors and qualified
youth workers became more and more apparent. As requests
for trained workers came in, the need for a program combining
courses in the philosophy of youth work with a strong emphasis
on practical application, became clear. The Second Year
of studies undertakes the challenge of providing young men
and women with the
tools necessary for successful youth work, missions ministry,
and evangelism.
Solid Bible Instruction:
Courses taught both by resident and adjunct faculty present
a Biblical approach to church organization, ministry-related
issues, and evaluation of the emerging trends in church
work.
Outstanding Faculty:
In addition to the resident faculty, the second year
program benefits from the Word of Life Local Church Ministries
and Word of Life International Ministries as staff from
those divisions are available to share their expertise
and insights. As in the first year, adjunct faculty
visit the campus for one or two weeks at a time to lecture
on their specialty in the curriculum.
Solid
Practical Training:
Courses and seminars cover topics such as (a) marriage
and the family, (b) Christian leadership principles,
(c) Christian counseling, (d) time management and people
development, and (e) missionary preparation.
Advancement:
Word of Life graduates are sought for their spiritual
maturity and enthusiasm for evangelism and discipleship.
The Bible Institute maintains a placement file for those
seeking employment in a ministry field upon completion
of their studies.
