Evangelist Sam and Sherry Frey2008 - Sam and Sherry Frey have been involved with open air evangelism on a full-time basis as a couple since 1983. Serving with WOL Open Air Evangelism since 1991, the Frey family seeks to train Christian churches, schools, and individuals to share their faith with lost souls in public places. In accordance with Ephesians 4:11, Sam seeks to encourage, teach, and inspire the saints to do the work of evangelism. In this way, local church assemblies are edified through class and "on-the-job" experience.
Sara has her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Development from Baptist Bible College. She is now the head teacher for the infant room at a nearby day car in Warrensburg, NY.
Shawn is home for another summer of working at the WOL INN kitchen and/or WOL kitchens to save monies for his next year at Liberty University. His major is accounting.
Steven will head to Florida for his second year summer requirement to serve in the WOL camping ministry there. (June 6th - August 10th) After graduation, he will go to Baptist Bible College to continue his education.
While most of the Frey's ministry centers on NYC, they have ventured world-wide to to over 60 towns and cities in the US and abroad. |

Jim & Julie Harvey2008 - Jim and Julie Harvey (Rosemary, Uriah, and Gabrielle)!
Jim has accompanied Sam and the WOLBI teams for the last two seasons. He has been a tremendous blessing to the open air evangelism ministry by leading teams, preaching using the sketchboard, and engaging in life-changing conversations with those he meets in NYC and in Lake George. Jim heads up the Lake George ministry during the summer. He would gladly come and share God's blessings with YOUR church.
We are praising the LORD for souls saved, and we are excited that their support has climbed to 56%! Please continue to pray for their involvement in the open air.
Jim Harvey was a chef for Word of Life for over 25 years, feeding hundreds of Bible school students, staff, and visitors. Now, he is ELATED to be feeding souls the Gospel of Jesus Christ. His wife, Julie, also a Bible Institute alumni, is busy at home with their three children, working occasionally outside the home to help contribute to their income. Their prayer is to be fully supported so his focus can be devoted to the Lord's work and to his family!

Del and Mary Ann Benner2008 - Del and Mary Ann travel from their home in Pennsylvania to meet with the WOLBI students in NYC. They minister to and with these students as they stay in Woodside, Queens, New York. Del acts as chef, counselor, and most important of all, is faithful to present the Gospel to those with whom he meets. Mary Ann's encouraging personality is such an asset to the team as she ministers right alongside Del in children's and women's ministry. Praise the Lord for her vibrancy as she serves Him! The Benners bring church and other groups into the city on evangelism and training teams upon request. They will also go to the teams' locales to train and evangelize as well. |
